If she became President on January 20, 2009, I would trust Sarah Palin.
That’s a big statement.
My trust starts with her ability, on day one of the McCain-Palin campaign, to deliver a speech with a conviction that could only come from the heart. Those were not just words. That was Sarah Palin, who she is, the total of all her 44 years of life experience.
She’s Mrs. Smith on her way to Washington.
Sarah Palin is every politician’s worse nightmare, a mom tired of crooks running our country, their cronies running to the bank with the profits, and con men masquerading as statesmen saddling future generations with bills they can never pay.
I was no fan of John McCain. That changed Friday when he named Sarah Palin as his running mate; she is the one that I have been waiting for and the change I believe in.
Update: Michelle Malkin reports that the liberal hacks already have their slandering knives out for Sarah Palin. The libs are very afraid of her; they should be.

Oh, brother. I’m all for a woman reaching a high office but it has to be the right woman. This one isn’t it. She’s woefully unqualified and I can’t believe so many are falling for the smoke and mirrors. But, whatever. Go ahead and vote for her just because she’s a woman. Just don’t delude yourselves that you’re putting country first. You’re putting gender first and it’s pretty disgusting. McCain wasn’t putting country first when he chose the person that knows pretty much less than him on every single issue. McCain’s selection of her was pandering to the female vote and nothing more. Sad that so many women are so easily led. I’m ashamed of any woman that would choose to support this ticket simply because of her gender. The first things out of her mouth were lies. She tried to paint herself as some innovative reformer by putting up a jet on ebay. She neglected to say that her idea failed and she had to hire a broker to sell it in the end. She kept telling the “thanks but no thanks” bridge story when it was untrue. She ran her campaign for governor on a platform supporting the bridge. She didn’t say “no thanks” until it had already been killed by congress. She’s a consummate politician. She’s not going to bring about change. She’s playing the same old game. A politician in “hockey mom” clothing. She didn’t know what the Bush Doctrine is. And no, a lot of people don’t know what it is but a lot of people aren’t running for the second highest office in the country. She is. It would be a sad sad day for this country and for women in general if this wholly unqualified person gets voted into an office she has no place occupying. Alaska is the closest to Russia? That would be hilarious if people weren’t actually using that to qualify her “foreign policy experience”. Which instead just makes it sad and completely absurd. If women are honest with themselves and use their god given intelligence to judge her on her actual merits and the bs the McCain campaign is shoveling about her they will not cast a vote for this woman.
I consider myself an Independant and do not really care about party ties. This election (as they should all be) is about what is best for our country. I vote for who I believe can lead and best “protect” our country. I do admit because of Sarah Palin….. I am energized and now know who is getting my vote. And hooray for standing up against the media. I believe the “story tellers” especially on NBC “create” controversy and tell many stories without revealing “all” the facts. Unless of course you are a Democrat. As they say, behind every successful man…there is a woman. With God blessing our country and keeping the faith…this combo is loaded. YOU GO GIRL!!!! And “thank you” for the HOPE and FAITH I believe your team can give back to this our great country.
I’m hearing justification to cover the pregnancy of the minor, Bristol Palin, because it reflects on Governor Sara Palin’s judgment. Although I disagree in covering this issue, I do like the judgment argument. Personally, I’m glad that Senator McCain chose Governor Palin as his VP choice. It’s the real life instances that speak louder to me than any words, especially words from a political candidate working to solicit votes.
There was a time in my late teens where my role in life was to be a friend to an adopted daughter to missionaries in Mexico who could not have children of their own. When it was discovered that this daughter was pregnant, she was banished to Georgia to have that baby where no one knew her. At the time, I didn’t realize what an emotional drain it was too constantly lift her spirits, for months, make her feel wanted and assure her that she was dearly loved by her missionary parents. The most heartfelt reoccurring discussion that I would have to engage in with her was why she should not kill herself.
When I see this high profile mother, conservative Christian and now Republican Party VP Candidate’s treatment of her daughter in this situation, I stand in awe and have a deep admiration for the character of both Governor Palin and her daughter. Choosing life, for the innocent bystander, rather than abortion during what may be the most challenging time of her life screams “Now that’s my kind of person!” to me.
Governor Palin and your family, I would like to thank you for stepping up to the plate and for providing real life examples of what the Republican Party is all about. You make it possible for me to vote for Senator McCain in November. God bless and thank you so much.
My favorite part was how instead of the Obama sycophants chanting “Obama, Obama, Obama!”. The People chanted USA USA USA.
I think I am going to like Governor Palin.
Thank goodness for Sarah Palin! Sen. McCain, great choice! Thank you for uniting the Conservative base!! McCain-Palin on to victory!!!
